DOBRÁ CHATA is an ideal place for family holidays, sport and company events, school countryside stays, training courses and also, and recovery stays. It is also a suitable place for anybody looking for a pleasant and peaceful environment of the resort of Šumava.
DOBRÁ CHATA is equipped with a heated ski-room where you can walk in with your skies on. In the room, there is a lockbox allocated to each of the hotel rooms. The hotel also offers room for storing bicycles, ski and snowboard rental for children and adults.
Skies and snowboards
DOBRÁ CHATA is situated in a close distance to ski slopes, next to bottom station of a chair lift in the ski resort of Zadov – Churáňov, where you will find 7 ski slopes, 5 ski lifts, 2 chair lifts and a natural U-ramp. Majority of the slopes are open for evening skiing and regularly covered with artificial snow in case of bad snow conditions.
Cross country skiing
Directly at the top station of the chairlift, there is the famous ski complex with 50 km of cross-country skiing routes connected to the whole route system of 300 km. The local stadium and adjacent race tracks are still popular places for cross country skiers. Distance of some of the popular destinations: Horská Kvilda - 6 km, Kvilda - 10km, Prameny Vltavy - 16km, Knížecí Pláně - 18km, Březník - 20km, Modrava - 15km.

Hiking and cycling
In the surrounding of the hotel, there is a dense net of hiking and cycling routes of different demand. The hotel also offers room for storing bicycle and bicycle rental.
Horses
We offer spring and autumn stays focused on horse riding and its training.
Other sport and leisure activities: volleyball, tennis, bowling, petangue, mushroom and blueberries picking.
Swimming: Summer swimming in Vimperk (13 km) - 3 pools and volleyball field. Summer and winter swimming in the swimming pool in Strakonice (35 km) and in the aqua park in Horažďovice.
